种菜应该买那种土比较好

如题，应该买top soil还是black earth?朋友告诉我不要买top soil,说黑土较好（就是那种black earth?).另外怎样施肥？HD周六top soil 打折98cents一袋。

They are basically the same thing. usually they come from two source. The top soil from construction site and city compost, sometime is the mixture of these two. black soil , top soil black earth just a name. You have no idea what is what.
They are OK to start a vegetable garden. But I used sheep or cow manure mix with peat moss and existing soil. 1/3 each.

I bought triple mix from landscaping company which cost $33 per cubic yard. It has soil, compost and manure.
