Constable must quit or be fired next week

OTTAWA — An Ottawa police officer has seven days to resign or be fired after his request for an appeal of a disciplinary hearing decision in front of a judicial review panel was dismissed. Const. Jeffrey Gulick was found guilty in 2010 by hearing officer Terence Kelly of discreditable conduct under the Police Services Act for an outburst on May 22, 2008, during which he assaulted four officers.
