Francophones and anglophones may live cheek-by-jowl in the National Capital Region, but they diverge dramatically when it comes to their views about language, their perceived relationships with one another and their attachment to Canada. And, says a survey done by Leger Marketing for the Association for Canadian Studies, the differences between francophones who live in Gatineau and anglophones who live in Ottawa are especially stark.
