Ottawa artist Bruce Garner was considered one of Canada’s pre-eminent sculptors and his works found a home not only in the city but also abroad. His works often depicted people or animals in motion and it was that sense of flight that distinguished the bronze sculptor who lived in Plantagenet, Ont., with his wife Tamaya.
