Jewelry, cash stolen in two more break-ins targeting Ottawa’s Asian community

Police have attributed two more burglaries in Ottawa on Thursday to a group they say is targeting people of Asian descent who either own or work at Asian restaurants. The latest break-ins — one in the east end and one downtown — bring the number of linked burglaries to 11 in three weeks, police believe.
