Ontario Provincial Police repeat offender unit is seeking public assistance in finding Michael Wiwczaruk sought on a Canadawide warrant for parole violation.
Wiwczaruk, 27, was serving a four-year, 10-month sentence for robbery, forcible confinement and other offences.
He is described as six feet two inches (188 cm) tall, 210 pounds (95 kg), with blue eyes and short brown hair. He has a tattoo of a symbol on the left side of his neck.
Wiwczaruk is known to frequent the Ottawa, Kingston and Hamilton areas.
Anyone with information on the fugitive is should contact provincial ROPE squad at 416-808-5900, or toll free at 1-866-870-ROPE (7673) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or call 911.
