The OPP’s repeat offender unit has issued a Canadawide warrant for a 33-year-old repeat offender who might be in the Eastern Ontario region.
Michael Hawes has a history of convictions for sexual assault offences and uttering death threats.
He is under a long-term supervision order but his whereabouts have become unknown.
He is described as Caucasian, five-feet-nine-inches (175 cm) tall, 190 lbs. (86 kg) with short brown hair and one blue eye and one hazel eye. The right eye has an enlarged pupil.
Hawes is known to frequent the cities of Kingston, Ottawa and Belleville, police said.
