As the world’s pre-eminent foodie, Homer Simpson, would say: “Mmmmmmm. Ba-a-a-a-con.”

Bacon was everywhere at Baconpalooza the Experimental Farm Saturday. And beer (“Mmmm. Beer.”)

Big bacon and small bites. Bacon ice cream and candied bacon and bacon-caramel popcorn and …

And if you were looking for creative ways to handle the most blessed of foods, there were bacon-cooking demos by Michael Blackie, Lynn Crawford Lora Kirk and Steph “the Grilling Gourmet” Legari.

And if you’d overindulged, you could dance off the calories with tuneage from the award winning Drew Nelson Band and MonkeyJunk.

A small group of PETA-inspired protesters greeted Baconpalooza attendees, warning them against eating bacon.

It didn’t work very well, but everyone was polite.
