Police check reports of shots fired in Carlington area

Police confirmed they are investigating reports of shots fired on Lepage Avenue, near Kirkwood Avenue in the city’s Carlington area early Wednesday.

Police were called to the scene shortly before 3 a.m. after people heard what sounded like gunshots.

There were no reports of injuries.

If confirmed, it would be the city’s 52nd shooting incident of the year.
