Commuters should avoid the Hog’s Back swing bridge beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday as the crossing is closed for preventive maintenance.
The closing applies to vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
Traffic will be detoured to Heron or Hunt Club roads until at least 5 p.m. People who normally take Colonel By Drive are urged to exit well before Hog’s Back Road.
