Thought you would understand the concept. Without Fed "buying real estates" (mortgage-backed bonds), the mortgage rates would have been on the roof.

Of course, Fed doesn't directly buy stocks and houses, but in effect it's been the largest buyer of houses, stocks or other assets since financial crisis in 2008 with insane QE.

Hahaha! Of course “There’s nothing wrong with that.” Housing Minister Ahmed Hussen himself purchased a rental property mortgaged with CIBC on Quest Private, Ottawa ON in September 2021 when housing affordability was a major part of the Liberal election platform.
