let's say in 20 years, you will achieve a significant progress in your life by working in China. You have a lot of money, an important position, friends and relatives are all close to you and you earn a lot of respect from lots of people around you.
Then, you decide to leave everything and come back to Canada to continue your life, which is very unlikely or retire, which is the only thing that makes senes. But, I would think it twice because it is not going to be very easy when you try to migrate again at age of 65 at all. If, I were not financial ok, I would not take the risk to go to a country which I have not lived for 30 years. If I am super rich, I would have a better life in China as well. Why bother coming back.
Finally, the only reasonalbe situation of coming at age of 65 is that you are doing so so. Then, there is a lot of risk you have to take and lots of psychological roller coaster to go through. It could end up go or bad, which totally depends on your luck.
Having read some of your posts, i believe you like that kind of person would like to think thins many times.
