Keep your Promise ? No More Taxes!

I didn't vote last time because I didn't care, but I will this time.

Dalton had broken every single promise he made during the election. If he dares to increase taxes, in any form imaginable without giving back some sort of deductable tax relief, then it's time for a referendum. Every dollar that we pay to the 3 levels of government comes out of our pocket, but the politicians don't seem to have the slightest idea on how a normal person lives his/her life.

We can't let the politicians decide our fate. It's time to do something. If we do nothing, nothing would ever happen. Let's sign that petition.

上次省选时，自由党曾保证不加税，当时有人指出，自由党如果不加税，根本不可能实现给选民描绘的"共产主义"，可是当时自由党就是不回答这个问题。

这里不存在发展中国家似的‘贫富不均’。同意你的第二句话。

说起加拿大，很多人往往有这个那个牢骚。不过平心而论，加拿大的社会保障做得相当好。和绝大多数发展中国相比有天壤之别。

中国就是没有很好的社会保障体系，这才搞得人疯了似的想用各种办法去暴富，去贪，不管凭不凭良心。

一个偏左的政党执政了这么多年,能让一个偏右的也上台来稍微调整一下,give people a break, 不是什么坏事.只要那个政党不是极右的.这对国家和人民都有好处,因为长期左倾和长期右倾都同样有害.

对于一个控制着联邦和省两级政府的政党，在下次选举以前，他们不会听你的。

个人以为Liberal控制联邦政府的太长了，所以才有各种丑闻和无所谓顾忌，建议这次联邦选举时，搞掉Liberal。

But the federal liberal and provincial liberal has no close relation
in Canada. They may just share some common believe.

But remember in Canada, NDP is on the left, Conservative is on the right and the liberal is in the middle.

But remember his comments just represent some people who is relatively poor and don't have to pay any tax. That's why liberal can get elected every time in the last 10 years, they understand poor people's one vote eqauls to rich people's one vote, therefore, they go in the middle, not too right and not too left. Everyone votes from his/her standing and situation. If he is middle class or rich, for sure he doesn't want to see the government increasing tax, but on the other side, if he is poor and don't have to pay tax anyway, why he should care about the tax. That's why he onlys cares about find a job and maybe when he earns as much as you, he will care about taxing.
