川菜讲究重油重辣,粤菜讲究清淡爽口,根本就是不一样的风格!你要是点了水煮鱼,干锅鸡什么的,你还不得当场自杀?川菜要得就是这一口儿。你COME FROM HONG KONG,不喜欢川菜,干嘛咬牙切齿的诋毁别人?听说现在天润还把珠城的点心师傅请来做广东早茶,生意还挺火,上星期天我们中午排了半个小时,才等到座位。
I don't know about Dim Sum at lunch time. I heard the dim sum cook left 珠城酒? and now work at 天?酒?.
But dim sum is different than the dinner.
Anyway, I am just telling my dinner experience last night and gave my comment about the restaurant.
Our table has 10 people and 10 of us (even the non-picky couples) said that they won't go to 天? again.
My friend called me this morning and asked me if I went home to eat anything. I told her that I ate instant noodels after the dinner.
She told me that she had stomache ache after the dinner. (I am not surprised since the food was served warm and not hot.)
Anyway, we are all frequent diners. Having been most of the Chinese restaurants, including 珠城酒?,荔景酒家,滕王轺, ?都酒家 in Kanata, ?子江酒?, 樘城?店 (dim sum only), etc., 天?酒? is the worst one I have tried in Ottawa (even with $170 spending last night). Don't expect returning customers (at least 10 of us).
By the way, I am a Shanghainese. I know what a good 川菜 should taste like. The cook at the original 天? (the first owner) was good. The second owner didn't manage to keep the cook and lose business. Now this new owner.... at least can't keep the good diners like us.
