you already open the boxes(jacks). Very good.
The jacks seem okay.

First make sure your telephone is working at other jacks.
e.g., Check it at your neighbor's jack.

If not working, your telephone is no good.
But try a new cord, if you can change it
or cut the plug to connect the wires directly to the jack.

If the phone is working on other jack, then the jack is the problem.
I would first shake the plug a little.
Then check the copper wires connection points at the jack where
your plug it in the jack to see whether they are bended.
If it is, then get a new jack reconnect the 4 wires.
Actually red and green should be enough.

真够累的， 直接找BELL不得了，你可以先打电话上一个WIRE CARE (三块多/月)，注意不是PHONE CARE，
然后再讲让人出工，这样里外线路都FREE， 修完了，你可以取消WIRE CARE， 罚你$25， 你也可以不取消，再坏也是FREE。

用不着自己修, 只要确定电话机是好的, 插到墙上任何一个插座都不响, 就是Bell的事, 不要钱, 也不收服务中断期间的钱.


唯一麻烦是要等他们, 不知道一天中什么时候来.
