They have different size, you can rent a bigger one if you like to pay more money.

I am just talking about the free one with "select service" account.

You can open your account in any branch, but you can only use the safety box at where they have it. For example, my home branch is at Marivale, and I upgraded my account at Hazeldean, and got the safety box there.

Another thing you need be careful is most of TD cashier might not know those benefit, including those guys in TD visa. You need point out all those benefit to them when you apply. Otherwise, they will still charge you.

Exactly, last time I bought traveller's checks, the cashier asked me to pay commision. I said "no. it's free", and had to show her the policies printed in the brochure.
