#37 was taken in the 2005 01 01 early morning at the cross of Followfield and Cedarview. I'd passed by there for many many times and I knew that the birches were good for a good picture. (Many beautiful pictures of the birches by the masters such Ansel Adams have been kept in my mind.) The background and light are the keys for the birch pictures, so only in the early morning or dusk at the certain lighting condition can be achieved the good picture. 2005 01 01 was a good sunny day in the morning, I was there, so I took the picture. In fact I took a few more pictures at sunrise time by using RAW format. (sunrise at the other direction). The posted picture was PSed to increase the contrast and saturation.
