Let me start by asking you this: How do you know? Forget democracy, forget freedom of speech, those are luxuries that hungry and homeless people simply cannot afford to be bothered with, and nobody is even talking about that here. The fact that you cried out 西方“民主”shows that you have no idea what's really wrong with those poor and desperate people in the flash.
Do you think private donation is the way to solve poverty?
Do you think having a compassinate heart can combat hunger?
Do you not think a social reform is urgently needed given the current situtation?
What these people need are social programs like 12-years mandatory education, universal health care system, employment insurance, pension plan. How? you asked, well, let's start by making a commitment first.
Do you think that those communist bureaucrats who are taking bribes, and who are sending their kids abroad, and who are taking advantage of the loopholes in the system actually CARE about the hungry and poor? What's in it for them to initiate the reform? Compassion? 良心?

I guess my definiton of "有真正爱心的人们" somewhat differs from yours, but if you believe simply posting a flash shows real compassion, OK, so be it. 
I disagree on your 2nd point: I think a social reform is badly needed, and it is needed NOW. If the government doesn't initiate the reform process, perhaps those poor and hungry will. Let's hope not, but social instability leads to revolution, history is our witness. 循序渐进? The CCP has been in in power for more than 50 years, it has been more than 20 years since the 1978 reform, how 循序渐进 do you still want? If they can't manage a country themselves, perhaps they should give someone else a chance. Throughout history, Chinese always pray for a good leader, a 明主 to save them, never had it occurred that depending on one person, one party IS the problem.
On your 3rd point, do you really know what pushed the Americans out of the 1930 recession? WWII. Enough said?
I understand your position, I also understand why you are so reluctant to make any change, and why you would want to keep the status quo: because you guys, yes you of all people, are the beneficiaries of such corrupt and unstable system...and you sit here and lecture me on who the "有真正爱心的人们" are.
