We're such a close cat family that we share as many

activities as possible

With the introduction of our most recent family

member, we had to establish a couple of new rules: Keep the bathroom

doors closed, and make certain that Eddie is never left unattended

in the room.

Frances is our chief colorist and painter. Jerry Lee is

our wide-bodied therapist.Without his concentrated heat, our lives

would be less soothing.

The only solution for our kitchen floor was to bury

it from view. For six months, Frances cut out lots and lots of cats

from magazines and books. Several scissor calluses later, she

transformed our floor with felines, :zany:

It doesn't matter if the cat food has been

advertised on TV and endorsed by the latest celebrity, there's

always one in the crowd who will find it lacking.

We're often asked: "Do your cats each have their own

bowl?" "First come, first served," is our reply. Some practice

defensive eating; standing over one bowl while eating out of

another, protecting the food that they're straddled over.
