大陆移民申请父母来加 可能轮候10年(ZT)

一部分人为了自己和自己的父母， 希望加拿大的移民政策变得对自己有利， 另一部
分人为了也是自己和自己的父母，但希望加拿大的移民政策保持对自己有利的情形。
有趣的是，好象前一部分人比后一部分人更有道德优势。

真奇怪！

I totally agree that it's pure out of special interests. If you want your parents immigrant, then you would like to support this, but if you don't have to have your parents immigrants (they can still come to visit), then you are worrying that if too many old poeple coming to this counrty, and reply on the society, then it will hurt the benefit of this country.

That's why I said to someone here before, that they should go to unite those people with those interests, not to convince everyone here and raise this to if Chinese should unite or not, to if Chinese should be strong or not.

There is just one pie in Canada, if more people come to enjoy it, then each one will get less.

I am not aginast reunion with parents, I just don't like people coming to abuse this system. I feel that the reason for government to tighten the policy are: first, too many old people will add more burden to this society which can't sustain itself already, as they don't contribute to it but just use it; second, there are many case of abusing the system like not keep their sponsorship role before.

So if the government would allow more parents come for reunion, they should have tougher law to punish those who don't keep their words, as its their responsibility. It's good for you and me and this society.

So don't blindly support this or not to support. Those who want government to allow more parents come to Canada, should also propose some more constructive suggestions instead of just plea under the name of humanity.

Look, for me, 1 penny in my hand is worth more than $1000 in your pocket. For you it is of course the other way and rightly so.

But just don't ask me to sacrifice my penny to save your dollars. No way.

中国人的最大特点是什么？就是容不得反对意见。中国从来没有平等讨论的氛围。本来是单纯的意见不同，非要往人身攻击上发展。这就是大多数桶子们的素质。包括元老级们的家伙。对我个人的信息，我觉得没有必要公布在这里，随你们怎么说。我不会也没有必要反击。我比你成功很多和这个问题本身又没有关系。
就事论事，加拿大是个很慷慨的国家。对于大多数人有好处的事，都可以照顾少数人的利益。这一点在中国是不可想象的。你们谁见到城市制定对民工有力的政策？我只是想说明，对大多数来说，这种政策改变事不关己甚至有好处的。作为弱势群体，当然可以争取自己的利益，但是任重而道远。从加拿大来说，保持现有的政策是人道主义，改变政策也是无可厚非。在自己利益受到损害的时候，不要像被踩了尾巴的猫。少说多做，认清形势，积极争取才是上策。
顺便说一下，永远不要指望在网上对你进行人生攻击的人有任何道歉的表示。中国人不习惯道歉，好像道歉了就低人一等。
另一个特点是，在攻击别人的时候，一定要把别人想象为LOSER,已占据心理优势。这从另一个方面说明，你从来都没有平等论战的习惯和思维。我很怀疑，作为弱势群体挑战大多数人的时候，丧失了心理优势的你还有没有勇气？

欣赏并支持你的讨论态度. 至于加拿大是否"慷慨", 不敢苟同. 其实它是否慷慨都无可厚非,也不重要. 世事皆无完美. 选择的时候, 最重要的是明白自己最想要什么, 还要明白, 想什么都要的往往只会要来烦恼.

You can call me whatever you want as long as it doesn't hurt my interest: the most important at this stage of my life, is IT job oppotunities. And later in my life, it should be Canadian medicare. And the matter of fact is, more Chinese in Canada will hurt both of the above.

他们付了申请费和LANDING FEE.这些费用已经在补贴政府的开销.

你刚移民或学习来的时候,WHO WAS PAYING YOUR MEDICAL COST? WHO WAS PAYING EDUCATION? WHO WAS PAYING SOCIAIL FACILITIES FOR YOU USE?

当你在使用这些别人TAX MONEY的时候,你就忘记了谁当时在给你付TAX,现在人家父母付申请费,你凭什么指责人家的道德????

You are not in IT ? Then why we are having this fight ? Young healthy non-IT Chinese will not hurt my interest so I won't care if you stay in Canada or not.

By the same token, if the policy is that sponsors must pay for their parents's medicare until they pass away, I won't against their reunification in Canada.

It all comes down to interest, want me to agree with you ? You have to satisfy me that it won't hurt my interest.
