孩子是否一定要生在加拿大才能落户

只有绿卡，还没拿到国籍就回国了，现在怀孕了。不知道是不是一定要回加拿大生孩子，才可能落户。如果在国内生下来，过半年再到加拿大，孩子的户口能落在加拿大吗

because of your immigration status in Canada (landed immigrant), your child has to be borned in Canada in order to get a Canadian citizenship right away.

Unless one of the parents is a Canadian Citizen, the baby born overseas can apply Canadian citizenship. But, it seems this is not your case.

A child is born to be Canadian if he is born here no matter what status his parents are. Namely, even if his parents are not immigrants, like students, the child is still Canadian.

because of your immigration status in Canada (landed immigrant), your child has to be borned in Canada in order to get a Canadian citizenship right away.

Even if the parents are not immigrants, if a child is born here, he is Canadian automatically. If the parrents are immigrants, and child is born in China, I don't think he is automatically a Canadian, but he can apply for immigarnts easily (as his parents are immigrants).

No. The child's paraents have to be legal to stay in canada when the
child is born. otherwise, the child will be deported even he is born here.

no, the child is a Canadian regardless of his parents' immigration status in Canada.

yes, you are absolutely correct;

one can become a canadian by either birth or naturalization.

by birth: 1)born in Canada, or 2) born to a Canadian parent
for the former, it does not matter what the parents' status, as far as the child is born in Canada; for the latter, it does not matter where the child is born, as far as (at least) one of his/her biological parents is a Canadian citizen.
by naturalization: immigarnt and then become a canadian by sworn in.
