“我亦有亭”的英文翻译稿总算赶出来了。出于中英文的文化某些差异，我在一些地方做了小的修改，望有亭同学理解。

Just invited by friends to enjoy after-school life in a karaoke in Ottawa, two 20-year old young men got shot by 11 bullets. They are NOT able to see the sun rise again. This seems to be just a newspaper story. But this should not be the case. All snowflakes falling down won’t cover this outrage; all stars dimmed out won’t stop the cry for justice. Something must be done to soothe our broken hearts.
Gone are two blooming lives - what a grief to their mothers! A mother would not just keep going with this news and continue on with her dinner as if nothing had happened. A mother’s heart is broken, as seen by her own sweet heart enclosed in a casket. Every warm-blooded heart must be moved when witnessing these mothers’ tears at the funeral. Get the murderer punished by the law - it is the voice of all mothers.
Gone are two smiling faces - what a shame on our city! Ottawa, as any other city, should never be a haven for criminals. Ottawa is a city that imparts a sense of security to residents as well as visitors. It is a city that attracts numerous immigrants and international students to come and pursue a better life. However, those murderous bullets not only took two innocent lives, but severely impaired our efforts, to build a peaceful capital. Can we argue that these two young men were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time? Of course NO. No one on the earth is able to ensure he or she always appears in a right place at a right time. For the sake of security in life, we should not keep silent on this tragedy. Bring the murderer to justice - it is the mission of our city.
Gone are two vivid souls - what a loss to the nation! Canada should not be the place for bloody killers with guns in hand. Canada is the world’s renowned nation for peace lovers. Nonetheless, it just happened in this nation that two young students were shot by a merciless man and died in a public place! Zero tolerance to this ferocious crime ? is demanded, as with one voice, by the Chinese community in Ottawa, all mothers who love their children, and all human beings on this planet. In fact, it is the voice of our “rights of life”. The perpetrator must be called to account - it is the command of justice.
