过了120km/h，有异味。

Toyota Matrix.这几天，车过了120， 就有股“苦”味道。因为装低音炮，被人在firewall钻了小洞走线，觉得可能是风大吹进来的。但是那东西堵上，也不见得有什么好转。

后来问到气味，就开窗，结果窗外的气味更大，随即停车，开hood，没有异味。3000Km前换得机油，会不会因为机油质量不好？或者是underhood防锈的那些泥的味道。

有时在做别人的车，或者走在马路上，也会问到这种味道。是不是轮胎的味道？

没有noise，oil 也是黄色的，不脏。我觉得会不会是窗胶条密封不够，所以即使开到内循环，也会有气体流入。或者是carbin filter 不好，因为是在ebay 上买的。

don't use a ebay filter, unless you know the brand, other wise don't just buy a random filter from ebay, its poor performance.

As to the smell, I think its either spillover oil/coolent when refilling, or strong brake dust. If your engine looks a little dirty, clean it, run some engine treatment and clean your brakes with WD-40, and see what happens. If the smell is still getting there, take it to a shop to show them what smell and they should be just able to tell you what it is.

don't use WD-40 for brakes is danger. Use brake cleaner.

WD-40 is basically cleans, de-greases the brakes, get rid of rust formations. Its basically a brake cleaner. I have used it on all the customer's cars weather they want a brake clean or paint, WD-40 is not harmful to your brakes. If you read both "any brake cleaner" and WD-40, it contains almost the exact same chemicals.
