BUS罢工的事情有什么最新消息？

看了楼上几个贴, 感觉... ... 是不是到了把矛头对向市政府的时候了? 罢工刚开始的时候, 矛头99%都是对准工会的, 毕竟要求加薪要求控制排班要求尊重的是工会, 是工会把大伙儿推到冰天雪地里的. 现在呢, 到了骂市政府的时候了?

我觉得还是团结起来对付工会吧. 两头打会分散势力. 要想复工至少应该有一头服软, 让两头都服软似乎更难一些.

至于那个Rona Ambrose, 我从来就没看好过她, 她当环境部长的时候就不做事, 给人家从国际会议上骂回来后就被撤换了. 她就会说,说,说, 没见她做过什么有用的事情. 这事搁她手上当然谈不出什么来.

目前这种非常时期，要注意不要轻信各种谣言，此时各种小丑都会跳出来表演一番。

City, union reach deal to end Ottawa transit strike

The city and union reached a tentative agreement on Thursday to end Ottawa's transit strike.

The City of Ottawa and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 279 have both agreed to send the contract to binding arbitration on all issues with no conditions, Mayor Larry O'Brien said Thursday.

The strike will officially end once city council ratifies the deal at a special meeting scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday.

OTTAWA — With the imminent threat of federal legislation hanging over their heads, the city and its transit union reached an agreement Thursday evening to send all the outstanding issues in the seven-week OC Transpo strike to binding arbitration.
The strike by 2,300 members of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 279 is over immediately.
At a news conference in Mayor Larry O'Brien's office, Mr. O'Brien and union officials André Cornellier and Randy Graham came together to announce that with federal back-to-work legislation seeming inevitable, they decided it was in the interests of Ottawa residents to come to an agreement and get the buses rolling again.
Asked why Ottawa residents had to go through 51 days of suffering before this, they said an agreement simply couldn't be reached without the threat of legislation.

Liberal MP David McGuinty, who represents Ottawa South, and NDP MP Paul Dewar, who represents Ottawa Centre, said Thursday their parties would support a back-to-work order.

Although Bloc Leader Gilles Duceppe has said his party does not typically support back-to-work legislation, he says he has not ruled out supporting Ambrose's proposal.
