"Cardiologist" would be a good bet.

我以为，medical doctor 和 physician 都可以。medical doctor 更好，中性一点。不就是过来玩吗，又不是办理独立移民。只填某某医院的医生就够了，不必填科室。

是要家庭移民，要求填科室(department), job description, 还要找证明人。我也很奇怪对退休的人查这些干嘛。

不过，国内的人，在一个单位一干就是一辈子，会在不同的科室干过，有必要全部填吗？先搞好工作经历证明，再琢磨如何填表。

医生： Medical Doctor/Physician （选其一。个人认为，Medical Doctor general 一些，可能更好。Physician符合加拿大人的习惯说法。什么医生，来这里也不能直接上岗行医。哈）

访问了Ottawa Hospital网站，各科统称departments，内科医生统称phisycians，内科是Department of Medicine，外科是Department of Surgery。

Departments下设Divisions (专科)。

两者完全不是一回事。
心电图室就是一个Lab。在里面工作的人员，只管做EKG，不做诊断的。Cardiologist 是心脏科医生，4年医学院毕业2年实习之外，还有3年的专门的训练。
国内的内科医生，就是这边说的general Physician.

How to translate "主任医师"? I had hard time to translate my mother's title as well.
