政府工作的华人, 工资从5万多到7万多倒是见过不少, 9万以上的还不多见.

那真的是要manager级别的或者等同于manger的专业级别CS, FI, AC. 都是Senior Level的.

一般都要求CCC, 或者CBC的法语, 而且每过几年都要重新测试. 那位能够做到这个也真是不简单.

华人一般在政府无法再上一层和法语不过关可能有很大因素.

为什么思路老要局限在CS?

我只是看大家争的热烈，而许多在政府工作的华人做的是CS的工作，所以给出一个例子而已。这也是我给出Treasury Board of Canada 连接的目的，如有人感兴趣，可以到网上直接查其它系列的了，我当然不可能将所有的都Post上来的。

看来，混得好的，在哪里都不会差。在联邦政府部门工作，拿９－１２万也不是不可能。记得被“调离”枢密院的那位，她的工资待遇１０万以上。

可能因为华人在这里大部分都是CS的吧，还有就是CS的普遍认为自己比较牛的关系。

不是说政府里的人完全不干事，但是前面上来辩解的政府工们的发言怎么老是让人觉得有点得了便宜还卖乖，无病呻吟的感觉。

IT should belong to the CS group, I guess.

In regard to mortgage, it could be another way around. They would pay off their mortgages in the 500k range within 10 years.

Also w/ the economy nowadays, I don't think the benefits are getting better and better in the government. You know when government runs out of money, they will have to cut this and that. It's funny that people saying 3 weeks for public servants who work there >7 years. Are you sure? When I finished university and had a job at the hospital, my vacation was 3 weeks and plus sick days, I could bank hours, flexible hours, you name it. It seems besides government, hospital is also a good place to work at.

Of course hospitals are not bad. We call it " broader public service" here.

最牛的是在政府工作，同时有自己生意的人。偶认识一位本地人同事，在政府年薪9.5万，
自己和别人合伙开了个小公司，公司的收入比工资都高。该仁兄根本不想升到executive级别
了，因为一旦做到executive，每天基本上就是奔波于各个会场，没有时间做自己的事情。
我觉得吧，在政府做上去，最重要的就是口才要好，那些executive大都是讲话滔滔不绝的人，
技术能力未必好。当然处理人际关系的能力也极其重要。
总之，人各有志，也许有人特别喜欢政府工作，有人对它不屑一顾。符合自己的心
意就好。

每个人都有自己的生活，都有自己的快乐，自得其乐就好了。什么政府工，私营企业工，还不是打工吗？打工为了生活，生活为了快乐。快乐是自己定义的，和他人与金钱无关。
