Google 's price is little higher. My suggestion is not going for it, though if you wanna keep it for years then I don't think you will have any problem.

Thanks to both WiiWii and CCC. Judging from this 5-year chart, Google stock is practically at its historic high. $400 per share seems to be a more reasonable jumping-in point. I will keep a close eye on it.

You are getting the point now. Next thing you may want to check is its P/E ratio.

Its historic high was around US$750, I think.

Lots to learn. I guess the more important questions are 1) how competitive its technology is and 2) for how long it will remain competitive in the technology frontier.

I don't think so even its stock is climbing up by about $10 currently.

Google shares have lost nearly 6 percent of their value since the company said in January that it might pull out of China. During the same period, the Nasdaq 100 index rose by nearly 5 percent.
