晚上从168sushi回来,有些话说

去中国餐厅吃饭,一般都用信用卡付账,把小费直接打进去。真不知道还有这么龌龊的!以后给服务员现金,信用卡只付账单。
 
好多中餐馆和越南餐馆都是消费老板拿的。这已经不是个秘密了。

如果是一般的小店,我很能理解,一天就这么几张桌子,老板还辛苦跑腿。
可这家好歹是大店,打着多伦多旗号来瓜分一杯羹的。大店的利润是小店的多少倍,忙碌程度也是小店的多少倍,凭啥不给服务员小费?
反而是以前那些我们看不太上眼的广东餐馆,人家还都分小费呢。
 
I have friends working for few Ottawa's AYCE sushi restaurants before. I am told that all tips from customers do not go to the servers' pockets. All tips go to the owners!

The servers are paid on a per day basis (some are paid CASH). This include some of the kitchen staff. The trick is only one server knows to speak fluent English. Others' English are not so good. They can get a job in Ottawa, they are very happy already.

So, don't bother with higher tips if you go there to eat.

Besides, why you want to go to eat raw sushi/sashimi in AYCE sushi place? I worry about the cleanliness and how the kitchen staff handles the raw food. Do you know the 50% of Asian have H. Pylori (幽門螺旋菌) and mostly from eating raw food. If you want to eat sushi or sashimi, pay few more dollars to go eat in a traditional Japanese restaurant.

MM,服务员倒没跟我说是前三个月。说老板说了,以后生意好了,再给。这样的老板,说的话都得打打折扣。

细菌的事儿倒是真的,尤其是广东地区。不过这里的三文鱼应该都是冻过的吧。是不是会好些。再说日本人不就是追求活鱼宰下直接吃吗?
 
千岛也一样,不管服务员多辛苦,都拿不到小费,我有个朋友在他家打过工,说是有的顾客知道服务员不分小费,干脆就不给,结果负责那桌的服务员被老板叫去谈话,问她是不是偷拿了小费,顾客吃饭不可能不给小费的。无语......

唐人街上有家Yummy Sushi, 也是不分小费的。

I am talking about high volume processing of raw fish at AYCE sushi restaurants. So many customers and only that many staff. I am afraid to eat at those AYCE sushi restaurant. Just pay extra few more dollars and go to a nice Japanese restaurant instead.

真的假的:eek::eek::eek: 这个包括hockey sushi (中午名字都叫千岛)吗? 我拿到过两三次ten free one 了,算他家常客了吧, 因为对服务生满意,每次都在小费上表示的.如果老板那么干,有被欺骗的感觉,不爽
 
说来说去,去168SUSHI吃了饭到底给不给小费啊?这不给也不合适吧,还不得遭白眼儿?

真恶心,早知道上2次去我一次都不给小费了,哪有这么贪婪的老板,小费本来就是给服务员的.
如果是真的没收小费,就冲这一点,不去这家吃了
 
不给了以后,反正服务员也没分到小费,不会白眼我们的

不会吧:eek:,我一月中旬去吃,还得了"惠"字五角星呢,目前又积累了6颗星了,都作废了:blink::crying:
