give Tylonal or Advil continousely for symptom control(make kid comfortable). after 2-3 days, if fever is not gone, see your doctor. it could be bacteria or virus infection, doctor will assess and diaganose.
Tylonal: for fever and pain. very little known side effects,give it every 4 hours for fever control
Advil: for inflamation, fever and pain. little more side effects than Tylonal. give it every 6 hours.
both meds are commonly used alternatively for fever control and they need to be measured according to your baby's weight as over-the-counter meds,
do not skip dose.

as parents, observe any changes closely.
Contact your doctor if your child is:
Very irritable (cries when touched or moved);
Developing a rash;
Not eating or drinking;
Looking and acting very sick; or
Feverish for longer than 3 days (72 hours).
Go to the hospital if your child is:
Having difficulty breathing;
Unable to swallow;
Confused;
Very sleepy and hard to wake up; or
Has not wet a diaper in more than 8 hours.
