不过，我发现在这里很多人很容易把随便什麽事轻易扯到“中国人”上去。
或许爱国主义教育过于根深蒂固？很多事更多的应该先想到“人”才好。

What if I were white and I said:

"OMG, I hope the dead people are not white"
"I wish no whites were killed in the accidents"
"I am white therefore I am more concerned if a fellow white person died than if a non-white person died"
"Both an american soldier and an iraq soldier died in the war; I feel more sorrow for the smerican soldier because he is white"
"I am more concerned about the safety of the white community"

I would be in deep shyiat.

I have friends who are black, sri lanka, vietnamese, caucasion, spanish, frech, indian etc. I am not less concerned about their welfare than my chinese friends.

I have an interest in chinese culture because they have good food, and because I came from china
but I am not any more concerned about them than I am concerned about the situations in africa

What if it was the first day of school and nobody knew anybody else, and i was the only chinese kid, and nobody would talk to me because I don't look the same so they feel less friendly to me?

What if everybody in the world had that attitude? That they are more concerned about their own race?

Where is the love, people? Where is the love?

我是个俗人，还没有上升到博爱的阶级兄弟的胸怀。我关心的人肯定是有区别的。
这是我的优先级别
1) 首先妻子和孩子
2) 父母兄弟姐妹
3) 朋友同事
4) 社区的人
5) 其他社区的人
6) 其他地方的人。

我说我希望我关心的人没事，并不能推断出我希望"非我关心的人"有事的结论。
这样的逻辑可讲不通吧。

这是CFC网站，绝大多数人99。99%是从中国来的，我希望这些人平安也属正常。

当然这些话仅仅在这个网站上说。

你是一个善良的理想主义者。如果这个社会有30%以上的人象你那样博爱，这世界就不会有贩卖奴隶，就不会有侵略战争，就不会有X人人头税。

举个例子，我有个朋友，他家在中国的一个城市，前两天据说发水灾。我对他和别的人说，希望他的家人平安。

是不是我太狭隘了，应该说希望全市人民都平安？

我想楼主的原贴意思并没有种族区分的偏见。

Chinese != 他的家人, agreed? Anyway, it was a misuse of the wording. Mitsumi and Rock already dissolved their misunderstanding, and I also believe Rock was well-intentioned. Let's not get carried away.

My last post was in response to "任何正常的人也都是与你一样的". It was rude and ridiculous, just like the one who wrote this post, but I'm going to stop right here.

我写的是例子，如果字跟字去比较不同，就没有举例的说法了。你可以不同意我的例子，这是正常的。不要声讨我，我也同意Mitsumi and Rock already dissolved their misunderstanding, and I also believe Rock was well-intentioned. 但我应该可以写出自己的想法，对不对？这里是不是也讲究安定团结和稳定压倒一切？

你的最后一句话里加上了“It was rude and ridiculous, just like the one who wrote this post,”，我们不搞“文字狱”好不好？

哈哈! 看来你mitsumi是理解我所说的"正常人"是指什么的。你举的例子也好:

"一百年前， 正常人觉得女子无才便是德"
"一千年前， 正常人认为地球是平。"

我再引申一下:说谁是正常人，或者非正常人，本身并没有贬意，正如天才(智力超过正常人)，蠢才(智力远低于正常人)都不是正常人。


我很欣赏你这句话:"mitsumi不想针对任何人， Mitsumi只想做Mitsumi能做的事， make some noise and some difference."

好一个"make some noise and some difference"!

你们没有分清楚这两句话的区别：

1 我希望中国人平安
2 我希望车祸里死的不是中国人

第一个，没有任何问题，因为中国人平安和美国人加拿大人平安并不矛盾，没有任何种族意味。但是第二个就不同，如果已经有人在车祸里丧生，你这样说，就会引起其它族裔的反感，因为如果不是中国人，就是更有可能是加拿大人，或者美国人，总有一国的人死。

不引起其它族裔反感的表达方式应该是，我希望没有人受伤/罹难的人早日安息。言者无心，听者有意，在公开场合说话不小心，伤害的不仅是你自己。
