Ottawa police say published security camera photos have led to the identification of a suspect in the lunch-hour pepper-spray attack on a woman on an OC Transpo bus Wednesday.
The incident came following an argument between a man and a woman riding the Route 96 bus. The man sprayed the woman in the face with a type of pepper spray, which also affected other passengers.
Police say that victims were treated at the scene, but none were taken to hospital.
Security cam pictures of the suspect fleeing in the company of another woman were widely broadcast and police said in a release Friday morning the suspect has been identified.
There was no mention of arrests or charges.
