Sidney Powell: 'Biblical' Lawsuit Coming, Accuses Ga. Gov. Kemp of Deal With Dominion

By Eric Mack | Saturday, 21 November 2020 09:15 PM

Levying explosive claims of widespread voter fraud specifically tied to Dominion Voting Systems and potentially a pay-for-play scheme with GOP Gov. Brian Kemp, Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell on Newsmax TV vowed to deliver a "biblical" voter fraud case this week.

"We've got tons of evidence; it's so much, it's hard to pull it all together," Powell told Saturday night's "The Count" co-hosted by Rob Schmitt and Mark Halperin, teasing the explosive allegation of the Georgia governor in a contested and key battleground state.

"Hopefully this week we will get it ready to file, and it will be biblical."

"It's a massive project to pull this fraud claim together with the evidence that I want to put in," she added.

"You name the manner of fraud and it occurred in Georgia."

Among the most explosive claims alluded to by Powell were:
  • Joe Biden votes being "weighted" at 1.25 times and President Donald Trump votes being parsed at 3/4.
  • Algorithms that gave Democrats 35,000 extra votes.
  • Modifications made to voting machines after statuatory cutoff dates for changes.
  • Past election victories, including Hillary Clinton's primary victory over Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., being forced decided by Dominion Voting Systems.
  • Alleged pay-for-play kick backs to public officials, potentially even Georgia GOP Gov. Kemp for a late grant to use Dominion Voting Systems.
"George is probably going to be the first state I'm gonna blow up," Powell said rhetorically with her pending lawsuits alleging massive voter fraud.

Christie says Trump legal team ‘a national embarrassment’

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Sunday that the president’s legal team is “a national embarrassment” for continuing its attempts to question the election results without presenting evidence of voter fraud.

President Donald Trump’s team has seen its defense against the integrity of the 2020 election unravel, as states officially certify vote counts and judges dismiss lawsuits.

“If you’ve got the evidence of fraud, present it,” Christie said on "This Week" on ABC. “Quite frankly, the conduct of the president’s legal team has been a national embarrassment.”

Christie, who served as the U.S. attorney for New Jersey under the George W. Bush administration, was a contender for attorney general in the Trump administration.

Trump's legal team, which features Rudy Giuliani, was chastised in a ruling Saturday on Pennsylvania election processes by U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann, who said of their claims: "This is simply not how the Constitution works.” In a lengthy news conference Friday, Giuliani — a former New York mayor and also a former U.S. attorney — and his fellow campaign attorneys offered an incoherent collection of conspiracy theories, unsupported by evidence or detail.

Christie noted that the president’s legal team alleges fraud outside the courtroom but “when they go inside the courtroom, they don't plead fraud, and they don't argue fraud.”

“I have been a supporter of the president's,” Christie said. “I voted for him twice, but elections have consequences, and we cannot continue to act as if something happened here that didn't happen.

"You have an obligation to present the evidence. The evidence has not been presented, and you must conclude, as Tucker Carlson even concluded the other night, that if you are unwilling to come forward and present the evidence, it must mean the evidence doesn't exist.”

收录、转贴的要求 (对自己)、建议:
1. 欢迎转贴,必须要先读懂一些法律、选举的术语再转,比如涉及什么是 absentee ballots,
provisional ballots, reprint ballots;
2. 写明白究竟起诉的是什么样的事件/规则性问题;没有变成法庭交涉、起诉的不收录;
3. 区别非司法性质的 challenges,例如申请 WI 重新验票是 WI 在差距 <1% 的情况下本来就允许的;
4. 上诉成功的、得到解决的也可以转贴,我会收录在二楼,还没有决定的不要着急贴。

一楼贴被法官 dismissed / denied 的各种花式 lawsuits,会持续更新

Georgia:
Nov. 4: President Trump's campaign filed the lawsuit against the Chatham County Board of Elections Wednesday evening, alleging that 53 absentee ballots that poll observers said were not part of an original batch of ballots. County elections officials testified that all 53 ballots had been received on time.

Nov. 19: U.S. District Court Judge Steven Grimberg, a Trump nominee, ruled against conservative attorney Lin Wood, a Trump ally, in his lawsuit against Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger seeking to prevent the election results from being certified by the Friday deadline.

Michigan:
Nov. 5: The Trump camp asked that Benson order local election officials to allow challengers to “meaningfully participate and oversee” the voting and counting process. Judge Cynthia Stephens said that while Benson is responsible for overseeing the election process in Michigan, she would not be able to provide the relief the Trump campaign is seeking, as the counting process is largely completed, and “no basis to find that there is a substantial likelihood of success on the merits.”

Nov. 13: Wayne County Circuit Chief Judge Timothy M. Kenny rejected Republicans’ requests to delay the certification of election results in Detroit, saying he saw no convincing evidence of election fraud at a center for counting absentee ballots. The judge also said that the allegations of misconduct, made by GOP poll watchers and one Detroit election official, were “not credible.”

Pennsylvania:
The Supreme Court justices split 4-4 on Oct. 19 over a Republican plea to undo a state court order and force elections officials to ignore absentee ballots received after Election Day, Nov. 3. The tie vote left the Pennsylvania court order in effect and allows mailed ballots to be counted if they are received by Nov. 6. Chief Justice John Roberts and his three liberal colleagues voted to leave the court order in place.

Nov. 5: A federal judge denied an emergency request from U.S. President Donald Trump’s campaign on Thursday to stop ballot counting in Philadelphia so long as Republican observers were not present.

Nov. 13: Two judges in Pennsylvania tossed a half dozen court cases the Trump campaign had brought to invalidate thousands of votes around Philadelphia. In total, the Trump campaign had sought to throw out almost 9,000 absentee ballots because their outer envelopes lack names, dates or addresses or some combination of the three that voters could have filled out.

Nov. 19: Two more Pennsylvania legal challenges by President Donald Trump's campaign appear to have failed, insuring that more than 2,700 ballots that had been contested over technicalities would, in fact, be counted.

Nov. 21: U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, dismissed a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump’s campaign that sought to invalidate millions of mail-in votes and block the certification of Pennsylvania’s election results.

Arizona:
Nov. 19: A judge has rejected the Arizona Republican Party’s bid to postpone the certification of election results in Maricopa County and dismissed the party’s legal challenge that sought to redo a hand-count audit of ballots.

Nevada:
Nov. 20: A Nevada district judge denied a request brought by a conservative activist to halt the certification of the state's election results.

WASHINGTON — While President Donald Trump has publicly praised his legal team’s efforts, he has privately expressed frustration with the slapdash nature of his election defense fight, according to several people familiar with the discussions.

The president has been complaining to aides and allies about his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and recently-removed lawyer Sidney Powell’s over-the-top performances at a news conference at the Republican National Committee headquarters last week, these people said. Both Giuliani and Powell have continued to make conspiratorial and baseless claims about widespread voter fraud, for which they have provided no evidence.

The president is concerned his team is comprised of “fools that are making him look bad,” said one source familiar with the thinking. Asked why he would not fire them, this person replied, in essence, who knows?
