Re: to: maclean's university ranking

<HTML>when you go to look for job, you will see the rank make senses.</HTML>

Re: to: maclean's university ranking

<HTML>guest1,

I totally agree with you.

Ranking is very important.

Ottawa U has no good quality--->Ottawa U has no good ranking--->Ottawa U can't admit good students-->Ottawa U students are mostly not good--->Ottawa U students can't find good jobs.</HTML>

Re: to: forest

<HTML>Forest, I can see that you are a little abnormal.
So I think arguing with you on this issue is unnecessary.</HTML>

Re: to: forest

</HTML>

Re: to: forest

<HTML>Thank you Forest for your bragging McMaster. "McMaster U is much better than Ottawa U. It is called MIT in Canada." I graduated from McMaster. I know how "great the Canada MIT"" is. Really a joke. McMaster is just so-so. In your mind, York U must be "Harward in Canada." I can tell you when selecting an applicant for a job, your knowledge, your relative skills and your attitude to work are three priorities, ranking or name of university is the last thing considered by members of a selection committee, as long as the university is a normal one. BTW, the girl of OU MBA (I mentioned before) is offered the best job in Caanda any MBA student can imagine. I do not understand why you hate/dislike OU so much.</HTML>

Re: to: forest

<HTML>I hate OU because of it's poor quality and reputaion.

I was cheated by its name.

A garbage school has a good name. @!#$!!</HTML>

Re: to: GUEST1

<HTML>"when you go to look for job, you will see the rank make senses."

From my personal experince, I don't think so. I think employers cares more about how quick you can learn new stuff than where you graduate unless you are from Waterloo(in Engineering). MacMaster or OU or CU or western Onterio(in Engineering) will not make much difference.</HTML>

Re: to: GUEST1

</HTML>

Re: to: GUEST1

<HTML>不仅是语言, 还有背景, 经验. 我看你别指望了</HTML>

Re: to: forrest & guest1

<HTML>I've really had it with you guys! Your source is laughably unreliable. "Hong Kong based distant learning institute", I bet it has an affiliation with Waterloo university, ha! Check the real McLean's ranking for a change!

I've worked with numerous Waterloo graduates, they are not particularly brilliant, some can even be called idiotic. Waterloo shouldn't even be mentioned in the same list with UT, Queen's or McGill when comparing graduate programs! Most reputable school in Canada, right, it was founded in 1957! When comes to innovation, Simon Fraser, Mont Allison and Guelph are all far better than Waterloo. Its only selling point is comp sci which is over by now, would you just wake up and take a look at the jobless rate in Canada!

Oh for those of you who mentioned that McMaster is the "MIT of Canada", pls don't flatter the school or yourself! McLean's puts Waterloo and McMaster under "comprehensive" category, along with Carleton and Concordia, get it?

UO is not the best school in Canada, but it is a reputable school that offers quality courses. If you don't like it, go somewhere else, and STOP TRASHING it!</HTML>

the guest

<HTML>you are so stupid.

can you read english?

you don't know how to read maclean's ranking.

what a stupid guy.

Ottawa U has lots of stupid guys like you.

If you stay in Ottawa U , you will get more stupid.

I am serious.</HTML>

Re: the guest

<HTML>Now look at who's the idiot here! Let's not get into name calling, it gets real boring from there on.

Your posting is NOT from McLean's, it's from a crappy E-Learn institute which is based in Hong Kong. Your own link said so!

Like I said, I graduated from McGill, that would make me a non-prejudicial bystander. I've just had it with people like you who's coming to study in a school but never appreciate what the school offers!

Trashing does not make you hip neither a hero, grow up!</HTML>

Re: the guest

<HTML>only idiots believe you graduated from Mcgill.</HTML>

Re: the guest

<HTML>Then I regrettably inform you that you are one of them. Oh just so you know, I meant idiot. What made you the expert in evaluating the teaching quality of OU? Or any Canadian schools for that matter? You are probably a spoiled brat who can't even wipe his own a## clean! Nobody would be heartbroken if you want to change to another "reputable" school, go ahead. OU is only a garbage school for accepting a trash student that is you!

This is my last post on this subject, wasted too much time on stupidity it just ain't funny any more!

Listen folks, you all came to OU because this is the best school you could attend for whatever reason, whether it is educational, financial or just for immigration purpose (let's face it), so make sure to appreciate what OU offers. I hope by the time you graduate, OU's experience will be a valuable asset to your own knowledge base. Good luck in your studies!</HTML>
