I totally agree with you. Some of our people are really "fastidious but incompetent". Complaining is their only capability. I am studying in OU. Every single professor that I have met in my courses is reputable in his own area. One of them just donated 1 million dollars to OU's Heart Research Center. He is not only my mentor in academic area but also in moral behaviour.

hi guys
i think it's time to stop arguing about the Universities now. every university is unique, so u can't just determine the quality or anything of the university by ranking. For those who don' like OU, leave it! no one is forcing you to stay and no need to put a such strong tone of opinion. For those who like OU, welcome to the club, i like it too!

I'm glad that I broke my promise never to come back to this board again. Thank you for your comment, I am humbled! I really thought that someone should offer a bit fairness to OU. Ranking only provides a guidance to those choosing schools, but what really matters is the knowledge and experience that you'd acquire from your brief stay at the university. Once again, good luck in your studies!

I don't now why this is so difficult for people to understand, but there is a reason why many Chinese MBA graduates don't get jobs in Canada ... it's called language skills. I am an MBA grad and from my experience it was very clear that most Chinese students had a very difficult time with the English language. This is not a slight, it is a fact and should be recognized by all of you who are complaining. If you want to succeed, unfortunately you will have to try harder than others who are native speakers of the language. Is that unfair?
