26, Looking right.

The owl's fascinating yellow eyes are fixed in the sockets, allowing only 110 degree vision (humans have 180 degree), but the bird pivots its entire head rather than just its eyes when focusing.

27, the ears of the great gray owl are desighed so that, even in total darkness, the triangulation system of pinpointing sounds results in successful hunting. This is aided by facial discs covered with specialized feathers which enable the owl to hunt by sound waves.

28, Let's see how the owl search its food at its front.

30, it detected me and stared at me for seconds. (#30 and #29 are not the same pictures)

31, I was not its hunting food so it turned its head to a little bit left for search.

32, No food being dectected. A stardand owl right front pose was given me. (the picture is the same as the #1).

33, After I took the front posed picture, I saw that the owl wenked its eyes and seemed to say me "guy, are you finish ?" I immediately changed the my picture format setting from RAW to fine JPEG to prepare to take the series pictures of the taking off.

34, the owl moved and turned to its left.

35, Oh, it was flying away again. Owl wing feathers have a unique hair-like extension to the leading edge which reduces air resistance noise, resulting in silent flight.

36, it did not fly to me, it flyed to the forest. Could I take some more its beautiful pictures ?

欲知后事如何, 等着下回分解.

胃口再次被吊起。。。
