"government's faults are from its people."
Unbelievable! I literally read this line three times for not believing my eyes and for trying to find if I have missed something, or there's a typo something.
"
I do not question your intelligence, but I do question about your diligence for you only have read it three times.
Government, for evil or for good, is chosen by its people who have the power to change the way goverment behaves or change the government itself. As a Chinese citizen, you have your own right to do so, either by ballot or by bullet or some other means, which you apparently did not do. The American people chose to get rid of British government because of intoerable oppression by the British government. The black chose to end racial segregation in the US by forcing the goverment to mend its ways.
How about we the Chinese? Did you stand up and fight like the courageous young man who stood in front of the column of tanks in Beijing in 1989? Would you rather stand up and speak up and face the danger of being jailed than keep silent about wrongs by a government. If you talk about democracy, it is about people power and it is about your standing up ending the wrongs of a government or the government.
Have you carried any guilt llike me? I fought in 1989, but when I looked at the face of death, I ran away. Or do you have the courage to admit your guilt, even before your god?
Government's faults are from its people, if you choose not to fight.
