5 main reasons we are bullish on ACLS:
1) The over all market is turning bullish and will remain bullish over the next few years when the global economy recovers from the most severe recession since WII. We see inflation pick up and US$ (and other main currencies) depreciation accelerate gradually over the following 5 years. Thanks for the detailed explanations. Stock valuation is surely more attractive than bonds and long-term outlook should be good barring major negative events.
One thing I noticed while going through the financials of this semi company was its thin gross margin. If I remember correctly, it was below 30%. This is before R&D and SG&A. Unless it could substantially increase its revenue or profit margin, it would be hard to see how its business would develop profitably.
Of course, there are always surprises and maybe these are behind the TA upward trends ...

Bonds are good complimentary instruments to equities. Switching between them at different economic environment may maximize your returns. For example, it's time to sell bonds at zero interest rate times and buy back when interest rate peaks.
ACLS has experienced low margins for the latest Qs simply due to adjustment of inventories. If you listened to their cc over the latest Q, you would understand their gross margins will eventually come back to high 30s in the immediate future Qs. Hope this answers your q.
