第一次参加了福建老乡小林（本家）组织的Ottawa Investment Club BBQ，认识了些从未谋面的新朋友，挺开心的，谢谢小林（侄儿辈呢）！

感触最深者莫过于一个新朋友提出的“GS有本事赚钱总是好事，管它怎么赚”的观点。对不起，不才持严重反对意见。君子好财，取之有道，赚钱不一定总是好事！GS是华尔街最没良心道德的investment bank，凭借其通天的政治关系，给华尔街，给世界造成了毁灭性的灾难，是这次世界性经济危机的罪魁祸首。能赚钱就有本事、就该受尊敬吗？国内的贪官污吏奸商捞得够多了吧？为什么大部份人恨他们恨得咬牙切齿呢？陈水扁捞了够多了吧？马英九一上台，阿扁哥不也坐铁窗了？人性中丑恶是难免的，但良心道德是长存的！OBAMA政府没有魄力起诉Bush政府及其同伙Paulson等的罪恶，这是美国人的不幸，也是人类的不幸！2007年DNDN药没获FDA批准的黑幕慢慢见光了。这次黑幕让我一夜之间巨产乌有、债台高筑，彻底改变了我的下半生。这是一个小股民无能为力的，只能靠自己怎么买保险控制风险了。

华尔街能赚钱的公司多着去！即使是就GS一家赚钱，我不做股票也不买GS的。

It looks like Mr. Market is giving me another opportunity to add VBAAH today

Oil dips below 68 overseas and as of 6:30am, Dow futures shed 166 points, S&P 20.7, and NAZ 27. Markets will open much lower.

BAC gives up 0.65 to go at 16.74 in early PM trading with very light volume. I plan to add 300 VBAAH to make a round 2K in my collection.

My reshuffling the decks is mostly done now, getting to my desired position in BAC.

For an even more speculative play in ARNA, I also swapped common shares for October 7.5 calls (UGGJU). BLOSSOM results are expected out in September but cannot be sure before or after Sept. OE. Since it is strictly a BLOSSOM result speculative play, I may as well go for the leverage, making a killing or losing all. Doing this greatly reduces my total exposure but increases my effective control.

The heavy reshufflings of my decks over the past week have costed me thousands upon thousands of dollars. Feeling pretty shitty, for sure. Correcting operational mistakes are, more often than not, costly. I am, nevertheless, very confident that these reshufflings will pay off very handsomely over the long term.

The market tanked today without any prior warning. Is this the end of the much-talked correcton or the beginning of a continual slidedown to much lower levels? I simply have no idea whatsoever! I am all in on the long side. And here is a friendly suggestion: get out of your margined positions, long or short! In this highly unpredictable environment, the margin for errors is very tiny. A small judgemental error can be deadly costly for margined positions.

Doubled up on UGGJU today

As stated in my previous post, this is strictly a BLOSSOM result play. Exit strategy: should anticipation push ARNA higher before the result, resulting in a runup in UGGJU, I will unload a portion to take my initial investment back before the results; if OTOH, ARNA trades sideways or downwards before the result, I will hold for the result release. I will decide what to do after the result. Should BLOSSOM hit, I will sell most and exercise some for the NDA submission and eventual FDA approval and ARNA will become a long-term keeper. If BLOSSOM misses, I will very likely lose all and will wipe out the ticker.

Due to the speculative nature, this is all I will put in ARNA, no more additions.

IMO, C is still at the bottem price ($3.6), it is the right time for C and has a big room to catch up with BAC($16.66). in a short period (2 weeks), I believe C will outperform than BAC. today's 2billion volume already convinces me C is under fire to breakout.

C is flying to approach BAC.

By the way, anyone interested on NEPH? They still have 2 unprovement by FDA. The probability to get approved is very high. Anyone wants to hold position to this?

Anyone with a stop-loss order was cheated out of their shares. The timing of trading haul was set by the SEC. These evils had insider info on this timing due to data presentation.

Tripled up on UGGJU today

More DD points to the good probability of BLOSSOM hitting (statistically significant and clinically meaningful. The FDA guidelines require 5- pound placebo-adjusted weight loss). As such, I added 200 UGGJU today at 0.6. I may add another 200 in the next few days. Should BLOSSOM hit, I expect ARNA to be a rochet ship, no less than DNDN's violent uptick back in April, and my paycheque will be a whole lot bigger as my stake is quite a bit higher.

Then-DNDN and now-ARNA share many similarities: 1) Both have an CEO Wall Street loves to hate; 2) Both are heavily shorted; 3) Both are tremendously suffering from fear mongering; 4) Both have prior good clinical trial results; and 5) Both have a product candidate with huge market potential.

Can ARNA be a DNDN repeat? I can only patiently wait for BLOSSOM results to hit the news wire.

Wanted to get another 200 UGGJU but only got 50

Limit order was in for 200 at 0.6 before market open, only got 50 filled --- the only 50 sold at 0.6 today, all the rest went off at 0.65.

350 UGGJU is not a trivial position. But more and more DD has substantially increased my confidence that BLOSSOM will hit. After letting BCRX go at a loss and hence missing a boatload as well as a few hands of bad swaps between BAC and DNDN, ARNA could very well be the next big thing for me to make up these realized and missed potential gains. I plan to initiate UGGJB (ARNA's October 10 calls) within the next few days for 200-300.

How high can ARNA fly if BLOSSOM hits? Some reference to DNDN, HGSI, and OGXI is line, IMO. I have HGSI and OGXI on my watch list but never own any.

Should BLOSSOM hit, Lorcaserin is another drug name to remember, especially for overweight people, and ARNA is another biotech stock to own for biotech-minded investors for the long term, that is, in addition to Provenge and DNDN.
