啥党亚。3大党里哈珀党的理念是小政府，但是现在为了刺激经济，扩大内需，联邦政府还要扩充，否则民情一愤，他的宝座就没得坐了。

小声问一下，历史上曾经裁减公务员的是哪个党？

政府也不都是庸才。我在私人公司打工，认识有几个业务不错的决定去政府了。哪里水平高哪里水平低，不能一概而论，Nortel 鼎盛的时候，那里混日子的职工就很多，现在联系都中断了，我就不知道了。

说得对，现在进去的有很多精英，就是企业让他们心灰意冷。不过说实在，他们进去了也不会有很多发挥的机会，这就是政府工。

支撑渥村百业繁荣的，还是联邦政府各机关。

说得对，现在进去的有很多精英，就是企业让他们心灰意冷。不过说实在，他们进去了也不会有很多发挥的机会，这就是政府工。

不知道自己属于哪一类人。什么发挥啊、发展啊，对我来说，那是我如果不出来、仍然在国内工作的话，可能会有的“上进心”。半路出家移民加国，发挥、发展已经不在我的词汇中了。

换房的，得空出房子卖。我的邻居是公务员，刚刚换了大点的房子，在卖房。

公务员第一次购置房屋的数字，会如此之高么？我还是怀疑是那些公务员在支撑着房市。

当然，我没有数字来支持我的看法。纯属个人的猜想而已。

family day 不放假是因为工会和政府签合同是时候还没有family day这个提法. 一般3-5年工会就会和政府重新签合同. 那个时候family day就会加进去. 不少政府部门最早明后年就会重新签合同.

政府工作每年都会加两次工资, 一次是统一的按照合同规定加1.5%-3%. 还有一次是工作的周年加. 也差不多这点.

pension也是最高5年的平均.

Annual salary increase is not for everyone. There is ceiling for each level. Once you reach top, you will have to wait for the inflation rate.

这是一个令人悲哀的想象，而且这个比例还将会越来越高。

This not true. Actually, current rate is lower then before. Therefore, governemnt is hiring a little bit more than last year. In about 10 years, there will be many government employee to retire and therefore, more graduates are hired in recently years. It is true that French is critical for working in federal government.

如果妈妈是在家全职妈妈，在政府上班的爸爸也可以放9个月的“产假”，这是何等的福利呀！哪家企业有此福利？我认识很多在家全职的妈妈们，爸爸们都是打政 府工，就可以养起一家四口，供房供车都没有问题，三点多就可以下班，早上也不见得很早去上班。夏天喜欢的话就干脆停薪留职一个月放假去，活得都逍遥自在。

If you do not work enough time or if you do not work properly, you could be fired.

是啊，工作稳定、退休福利高，即保持了平日的“安定团结”，又可保证有“晚节”，好去处啊。

Yes, but you will need to pay 10 times (maybe twice) of your effort if you are a Chinese because language disadvantage. Just as in China, university graduates from countryside need to pay much more effort to achieve the same as those from city. Not sure if you agree.

I having been working for 2 of them, both private, small companies. Enjoyed my time there.
Much better than a public sector, from which I quit without finishing my probation.
Don't be "眼红" for public sector, they pay you for wasting your life. When your grandchildren ask you what did you do before retire, I guess what you can say would be "I had been accumulating pension for many years, that's all about it". What a shame, even your 4 year old grandchild would not be proud of you.

I am proud of myself becasue I believe I have been working hard (not guilty for my pay). Not all the Employees in Federal government are great and so is true in any other institutions. I agree there could be more slupy workers in public sector but it is not like what you said. Many of them are top scientists in the world. I know some of them who are working day and night, including weekends. Believe me. However, regular labour workers may not work this style.
