My lot is about 45x85, ok for someone who hates garden work.
You are absolutely right, it's all good if you like it. Besides many of us are first-time homeowners, there is definitely a learning curve. I think I'll do better the next time.

I really should re-shoot the pictures of my home. I took the pictures in a hurry that I didn't even make my own bed. :blowzy: Here is a somewhat decent one.

Yes, it's Thames.

we have the same model. I think Thames is the most popular model made by Claridge.

这里的所有builder都是雇佣sub-contractors，质量上其实没有太大差别，看运气了。

This is the point. To buy a new house, location is the first, then model, then builder.

应该是2000-2200尺。

内部非常普通， 而且材料一般

谢谢渐渐的照片.你这是50-70尺的房子吧?这房子在我们那区得卖40万.
minto的房子是横着宽,但一般后院很浅.claridge的房子是横着窄(35尺lot),但很深.总之,别人怎么说都是多余的,只要自己喜欢就好了.罗卜白菜各有所爱,否则,现在可能只剩下minto一家了.
有没有内部的照片?

This is the point. To buy a new house, location is the first, then model, then builder.

也不能完全这么说。
比如俺的一个同事，他也是看中了Minto得Larkin，也准备在Orleans的Avanlon那一片买，最后就是因为Minto的价格相比之下太高，他们去了10th line那边几家小点的公司开发的区，好像叫Ashcraft,选了很类似的一款房型。同样的内外装修，在Minto要多花4万左右upgrade。
好像有了经验的人们就不太怕小公司了，毕竟知道要注意什么，怎么保护自己，第一次买房，从众心理起太大的作用了。

我从来就没说是大房子,我只是说在我们这个区宽lot的房子就要40万左右.那么请专家看看我这个房子多大,值多少钱?

I do not know the location of your house, but i guess the price of your house now is 280K, +-20k.

The owner probably is from HK.
However it could do a better job in other sites, as said actually building a house is sub-contractor.

俺可是有个朋友跟他们折腾到最后，干脆退了房子的，跟俺同事说了，他不听，好像为了4万块，他能忍耐handle这帮家伙到底似的。----当然也是因为他从小在这里长大，自己的房子也不是折腾过一两个了，有经验。

Claridge可能是好意

把一面墙全做成cabinet，诸不知这样一来铺天盖地有一种压抑感。
Richcraft有一种几乎一样的房型。比较而言好像它更精致一些。
