我承认，右翼政党对少数族裔的关怀不如左翼政党。
但是右翼政党的经济理念绝对要优于左翼政党。尤其是现在这个对于加拿大来讲，最困难的经济时期。国家需要的是真正的tax relief,让更多的事物进入市场运作。这样才能激活整个经济。
不是么？

Conservative is very "careful" with money because some of its memebers practise "fiscal-Conservatism" i.e. small-C. (current conservtive is "careful" only, smart or not, yet to be proven). Mind you (1) Martin is also a famous small-C (2) GST and most rapid tax increase happened in Conservative governments in 80s)

But it is current Alliance-flavored social-Conservatism "big-C" that worries me. Time after time Alliance also has demostrated to me that its bigotry of having very little care or concern for the people need (Universal healthy care/old age care and minority rights, to just name a few).

Canadian society is a fair society based on Responsibility and Compassion (vs US, which is wallet and gun).

Lowe Green is an out-right racist and bigot. (but by US standard, he actually is a "modest conservative" )

I think keep taking like that, he is actually helping liberal by scaring away "small-C liberal" and "red Conservative" in Ottawa. He is the single number one reason that I will NOT vote any party led by old Alliance boss.

But hey this is a free country. He can talk his garbage and you can pick your poision Don't you love it

加拿大的居高不下的失业率，缓慢的经济成长率，还有上周刚刚公布的人均收入水平的大幅下降，这一切都说明加拿大的经济情况并不好。
而自由党的经济政策更是应该被批判的。高税收相反却没使人们得到高的福利，医疗，教育回报。
所以说，自由的经济体制，也就是保守党所倡导的理念，才是解决加拿大经济的好办法。

国家债务情况不能说明国家的经济情况。
加拿大的居高不下的失业率，缓慢的经济成长率，还有上周刚刚公布的人均收入水平的大幅下降，这一切都说明加拿大的经济情况并不好。
而自由党的经济政策更是应该被批判的。高税收相反却没使人们得到高的福利，医疗，教育回报。

Yeah, I feel Chinese in general is "conservative" in nature. We are likely mostly small-C conservative and good at gathering "worldly posessions" and generally have difficulty coping with the fact of giving money/things away and expecting nothing for return in foreseeable future (like those generous warefare in Canada that is based on heavy tax). So that reflects how we choose leader (well that is when we have a chance to

Wasn't because of immigration issue, we, especially folks from mainland cities, are likely to be big-C conservatives too. (i.e. against gay marriages, active union or opening arms to migrants/immigrants or illegal refugees ...etc.)

So see new comer Chinese immigrants from big city and currently making good $$ salary makes perfect conservatives

楼上说得是。就说反对同性婚姻的问题，华裔确实和右翼保守派有着相同或近似的价值观。其实，还有对于毒品等话题的看法。
华裔一直崇尚的是做生意赚钱，如果没有个好的Tax relief，赚的钱大半要交税，辛苦这么久岂不是白忙了？
