As I warned you many times, if you don't answer my phone
call. It will force me to do the following things:
1. Make one claim to Ontario Ministy of Consumer Services about
your business. As far as I know, the minimal fine is $50,000.

2. Report to CRA for you to hire the students without any experience to work for you for leading bad quality work for my home renovation.
You will see how CRA traces you until you are exhausted.

3. Depends how much damage you did to me because of mechanic lien attached to my property, I will sue you either in small claim court or super court for over $25,000. You may lose everything you earned.

I already took over $10,000 damage due to your bad work and don't want to take another hit.

I am a chinese and don't want to push you into the corner, however I will do them if you don't remove the mechanic lien from my property immediately.

Please call me immediately and settle the case!

There are many reasons. It's impossible for me to pay in cash
without the invoice with HST number for a few thousands dollar. If you want to do it, go ahead. I need the tax credit.

Normally, the price will be negotiated with paying cash or check. If you would like to pay check, then the HST should be added. The contractor will transfer the HST you paid to CRA. He can't keep it for himself. If you would like to pay cash, then you can get a lower price without the HST, although this seems not legal. Even the local contractor does the same thing.

I don't know your case. If you got a price without the HST, you should pay cash to him, otherwise, he has to pay 13% HST to CRA for you, which looks not fair for him. If both you agree to pay the check with HST, but he asked you to pay cash after the work, it will be his problem.

Yes, you are right. But why didn't you make the written contract with him before the work? The price both you agreed is for cash or for check with invoice and HST?

I asked him about contract but he told me it not neccessary unless there is the big project like the basement work. So I didn't insist on my initial idea.
When the project is amost finished, I got the quote from him in a short email. I haven't received his invoice yet but his lawyer managed to register mechanic lien attached to my property.

I don't know how to pay him because the invoice with HST is neccessary before I checked if there is the mistake like business name, business number and HST number, etc. Otherwise, the bank draft is useless without right name on it.

那刘师傅给开张发票不就得啦,就加个税的问题,真打官司,只能便宜了律师。那可不止几百元税费。
